Anurag Basu’s ‘Ludo’ portrays the characters and stories mixed with a plot that starts off with murder by Sattu Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). Then, all the stories merge with each other and create a beautiful story all total where they get clashed.


Akash (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Ahana (Sanya Malhotra) find themselves in an odd situation when they find a video clip of their private life that gets viral on the internet. With Ahana’s wedding scheduled in a few weeks, they both struggles to find the better truth.

On the other hand, Bittu (Abhishek Bachchan) is released from jail and finds her wife and daughter has moved on long ago, so he feels reluctant to find his daughter.

It’s his last wish to meet that girl. At that point in time, Pinky(Sana Fatima Shaikh) finds her husband having affair and he gets arrested for a murder accusation. She wished to get help from her lover Alok aka Alu (Rajkummar Rao) so that he could help her in that current situation.

And in here, a salesman, Rahul (Rohit Saraf), and is accompanied by a nurse who is bullied at work, Sheeja (Pearle Maney), their life gets a dramatic turn somehow at the end. They are quite intelligent and very decent to get that luck out of themselves.


All total, the premise is quite interesting and the clashing of four stories is done beautifully by the director. In the world of trending thrillers, Ludo is a refreshing start, a comedy with many shades that gave an interesting outcome.

The cinematography is quite engaging and how the possible shades of life are portrayed here is tremendously wonderful. The whole presentation is much impressive, the way of working on the same plot is very much different. Most of, the concept of presenting Ludo as life is quite good.


Ludo is possibly one of the best films of 2020 and the performance by the whole team is quite appraising. Everyone portrayed their characters well.
‘Ludo’ has some incredible moments that dazzle, and there are some which engage you to wait for the climax. But the content will obviously engage you till the end.


Anurag Basu is the key sparkle of the film Ludo along with his choice of tremendous cast. The multi starer film is an engaging one. While ‘Life ki lag Gaye hai Ludo’ is played as the background score, it actually defines the thousands of shades of life in the format of comedy around.
