Farmers’ organizations called for a ban on India on Tuesday.The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has suspended the CA Foundation exam on Tuesday due to the India ban called by farmers. The test will be held on December 13 instead of December 6. The test center and time remain unchanged.
On the day of the test, the candidates have to keep the downloaded admit card with them. The foundation test will be held on December 10, 12, 13 and 14.
However, ICAI has decided to change some of the foundation test centers in Kerala. A total of 15 foundation centers are being changed in the state as election day has been declared on the day of the exam. Candidates will be able to take the test at the new center with the previously downloaded Admit Card, ICAI said.
In addition to the foundation exam, the CA November exam is being held from November 21 to December 14. In the meantime, for CA candidates, ICAI has allowed conditional admission of tenth grade students to ICAI’s foundation courses.
