Reliance has become the first Indian company to post a profit of over Rs 10,000 crore in a single quarter. Reliance India, India’s largest conglomerate, has released its 3rd quarter results for the current financial year. The details are as follows: The company’s net profit was Rs. 10,251 crore and its annual growth rate is 8.82%.The net profit for the previous quarter was Rs. 9,420 crore. At present, the company’s total revenue has increased by 56.38% to Rs. 1,60,299 crore.In addition, at the end of March last year, Rs. 2,18,763 crore as against Rs. 2,74,381 crore, the report said. In the history of companies this is said to be astounding growth.Commenting on the astounding growth, Reliance Group Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said:Good progress is being made in the businesses operating on retail and geo sites. Similarly, Ambani is proud to say that the company is growing well day by day.
