IMA Wrote Letter To PM Modi & Suggests For Limited Period Lockdown


New Delhi:- After 7.4 lakh active cases of COVID-19 reported in the counter and surge is highly witnessed in a state like Maharashtra and New Delhi Indian Medical Association penned down a letter to India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and suggested some of the guidelines that can help to reduce the cases. While mentioning the IMA suggests 18 years above shall be permitted to receive COVID vaccination. Additionally, COVID Vaccination should be available for all free of cost at their nearest place. IMA also suggested a limited period of continued lockdown shall be implemented to break the chain of disease and this lockdown should be implemented for all the non-essential areas like cinema, cultural, religious events, and sports. Further, IMA informed they have covered 7.91 crores population with COVID vaccination.
