Be it plasma, blood the shortage of these two life savers are no where to be seen. The shortage of supply are looming everywhere. Previously, Health department have came up with a circular of voluntary blood donation camps, keeping in context of the Covid-19 crisis. However, the situation is yet to improve.

Speaking with Dr, Puja Maitra, “It can’t be denied that there is a temporary deferral of donor due to the current scenario. If this is the cases of one side, then on the other side, several NGO (non-government organisations) can be seen organizing blood donation camp. I expect and believe that this vicious situation will be over soon. And there shall be light at the end of the tunnel”.
With this case, such helps are always appreciated and in near future will help to reach to a saturation level of blood deficiency.
