Tiff Between Twitter & Central Govt., Twitter Blocks IT Minister Account For An hour


Since the day an on and off communication starts from manipulative media, the tiff between Twitter & the Central government still continues. Recently, Twitter temporarily blocked IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad’s account for an alleged violation of the US Copyright Act, a move that the minister slammed as being self-willed and a gross violation of IT rules.

However, reacting to it IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad Tweeted “Twitter denied access to my account for almost an hour on the alleged ground that there was a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of the USA and subsequently they allowed me to access the account.”

Reacting to the same Taking to Twitter, TMC leader Mahua Moitra said she felt sorry for the IT Minister’s account was blocked for an hour but she also asked about the internet access denied to lakhs of people in Jammu and Kashmir for months.
