’Biswabangla is not a political logo, it is the logo of Bengal government’ says Mamata Banerjee over the school uniform issue

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee opened her mouth in the recent controversy over biswabangla logo on school uniform. She said, “The Biswabangla logo is not the logo of TMC, it is the logo of the West Bengal government.” Taunting the Modi government in Delhi, she added, “Just as the Indian government can use its own logo, so can West Bengal. If it was the people of Delhi they instead had posted their own pictures!”

On this day, the Chief Minister has taken the opposition in one hand in the logo controversy. She said, “Someone went to a court and said it is logo of TMC. He doesnot even know what he is saying. According to some people everything is the fault of the TMC.” In her words, “I have made the logo. The Bengal government uses the logo by law. Private schools can use the badge as they wish. We have not forbidden that. We do not have aby objection over if any government school also has its own badge. We said that only the shirt will have a biswabangla logo. This is a proof that I am a resident of Bengal.”

The state government provides school uniforms, bags, shoes and textbooks to students from pre-primary to eighth grade. So Nabanna has decided that the school uniform will be blue and white in colour and will have the Biswabangla logo of the West Bengal government. Which has started the sparked a controversy. It also went to court. But this time Mamata attacked the opposition with it.
