Covid infection in Bengal increases, death toll remains to zero for the 4th consecutive day

For four days in a row, there has been zero deaths in Bengal due to COVID. That means, no COVID patient have died in the state since Wednesday to Saturday. On the other hand, the daily number of covid infected increased again. No of infected has crossed the boundary of fifty. The rate of daily infection has also increased.

According to the Covid bulletin published by the state health department on Saturday, 66 people have been newly infected in the state in the last 24 hours. Till so far 20 lakh 17 thousand 138 people have been infected with covid so far.

The infection rate in the state slightly increased to 0.44 percent. In the last 24 hours, 15 thousand 119 Covid tests have been done. The number of active patients in the state at present is 729.
