BJP MPs may propose to impose President’s Rule on West Bengal to PM Narendra Modi!

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Roopa Ganguly on Friday broke down in Rajya Sabha over the Birbhum incident and demanded imposition of President’s rule in West Bengal. “We demand President’s rule in West Bengal. Mass killings are happening there, people are fleeing the place, the state is no more liveable,” said teary-eyed BJP leader in the upper house of Parliament.

And since the West Bengal BJP MPs led by Dr. Sukanta Majumdar and Dilip Ghosh are going to meet Prime Minister Modi on a breakfast meeting soon it is assumed that they gonna propose the same thing again. Political experts say that the MPs will propose the PM to impose President Rule or atleast section 355 in West Bengal.

Some also believe that, since the term of president Ramnath Kovind will end up on 24th July this year BJP won’t do such things right now. They may do it after the new President is elected. Meanwhile, the CBI forensic team has reached Rampurhat after the Calcutta High Court ordered a CBI investigation into Birbhum violence stating that the decision was taken in the interest of justice.
