He asked them to continue the fight inside and outside the assembly. He also assured that he would fulfil the necessity in proper time. That is what Union Home Minister Amit Shah told Manoj Tigga, chief warner of BJP in the West Bengal Assembly.
Ruling and opposition legislators clashed in the assembly on Monday. Several legislators from both parties were injured in the incident. Among them was BJP’s Madarihat MLA Manoj. State BJP president Sukanta Majumder took Manoj to the Home Minister on Thursday. There, Amit Shah wanted to know the current position of the state from the two leaders.
Shah was briefly informed on the recent massacre at Bogtui in Rampurhat in Birbhum district, starting with the death of student leader Anis Khan. Manoj-Sukanta also informed the Union Home Minister about the incident of BJP MLAs being attacked by Trinamool MLAs in the just concluded budget session of the Assembly.
After the meeting with Shah, Manoj said, “We have informed the Home Minister about the way the Trinamool ministers have attacked us in the assembly. He carefully listened to me and Sukanta.We have also told how we were not given the opportunity of medical treatment after the incident.” He further added, “Amitji had told us to fight inside and outside the assembly. We will do what we can in the perfect time.”
