After winning the toss against Punjab Kings Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer opted to field first. His decision of fielding has become right as the Kings batsmen have highly struggled against the KKR bowlers.
After dismissing Mayank Agarwal in the first over, KKR bowlers have taken wickets at regular intervals and have perfectly followed what Iyer wanted from them. His acute captaincy was once again on show as he rotated his bowlers beautifully.
When Shahrukh Khan was dismissed by Tim Southee Shreyas Iyer brought an SRK-type celebration. This pose is actor Shahrukh Khan’s famous pose from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge” movie. Shreyas Iyer’s celebration has gone viral in the social media platforms.
It was not first time that he did King Khan’s famous gesture. Earlier he also gave the pose in front of Sharukh Khan, who is also the co-owner of KKR franchise, when he was bought at the mega auction.
Iyer’s captaincy has been praised time and again in the very short time he has led Kolkata. Iyer made a match out of KKR’s 128 as he took the chase to the last over against RCB. In the end, it was Dinesh Karthik who hit the winning runs for Bangalore. However, it was not before, Iyer managed his bowlers to give the opposition a hard time.
