New Covid cases decrease in the last 24 hours, death toll remains to zero again in Bengal
Although there was an increase in the daily covid infection in the state on Tuesday. It decreased for the next two consecutive days, Wednesday and Thursday. The number of daily Covid infections in the state has been below 50 for the last four days. For nine days in a row, there has been no death toll in the state.
According to the Covid Bulletin published by the state health department on Thursday, 33 people have been newly infected in the state in the last 24 hours. The total number of Covid victims in the state so far is 20 lakh 17 thousand 348.
So far 21,197 people have died due to Covid in the state. The number of active patients in the state at present is 612.
The state government has decided to lift the night curfew on Thursday as the number of corona infections in the state has come down. The decision will start its effect from Friday.
However, despite the lifting of the night curfew, the rules on wearing masks and maintaining physical distance have been remained same in the guidelines on Thursday. According to Nabanna’s directive, various government and non-government organizations also have to work in accordance with the Covid guidelines as before.
