Following a grenade attack at the residence of Punjab Congress chief and former minister Sunil Jakhar in Mohali on Monday evening, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said the “cowardly act” is designed to disturb peace in Punjab. He also asserted that his party will ensure that the culprits get strictest punishment.

Punjab CM Arvind Kejriwal has strongly condemned yesterday’s blast at the Punjab Police Head Quarters in Mohali. The explosion, carried out by a grenade launcher, created a sense of panic among the people, who had gathered for the Independence Day celebrations. Kejriwal said that his party would ensure that the culprits get the harshest possible punishment.”It is a cowardly act to disturb peace in Punjab and we condemn it,” he said.

The AAP supremo said that his party strongly condemns the incident and assured all possible help from their side in investigation of the matter. He added that such acts will not be allowed to disrupt peace in Punjab.
