JPNadda: Calling for a change in power in Rajasthan, BJP national president J P Nadda on Wednesday said the state needs a double-engine government. He also attacked Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his party, saying they have lost their character over the years and “no longer serve people but their own vested interests”.

J P Nadda has said that the BJP government in Rajasthan is anti-people and has no right to continue. The state needs a double engine government with both the BJP and RSS working together, the national president of the party said at a rally here on Wednesday.

Nadda was addressing the party workers in Banswara (Rajasthan) on the last day of campaigning before the second round. The party president said the state needs a double-engine government that will bring development and give jobs to youth

J P Nadda said while there is a need for a change in power in the state, BJP’s present strength is not enough to form a government.

The BJP president said the Congress government in Rajasthan has been “anti-people”, which has no right to continue. He even appealed to voters that they have a right to chose the next government and hence, need to vote for the BJP.

Nadda said opposition parties are already coming together to defeat the Congress in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Party chief also made it clear that, after the next Assembly elections, BJP will form a government in the two states with no coalition or alliance with any party.
