'Buddha Peace Foundation' Award -2021 on Social activities and Women Empowerment

Staff Reporter, DNI: Over the last several decades, it has become accepted wisdom that improving the status of women is one of the most critical levers for growth.


‘Buddha Peace Foundation’ Award-2021 is to identify, recognize, influence, innovate, inspire and celebrate the outstanding leadership and achievements demonstrated by women that are reflected by the distinct innovations, initiatives, and contributions in various fields. The awards will be felicitated to Ministers, MP’s, and other Singers. The event will be held at Myanmar Embassy Auditorium, New Delhi on 8th August, from 3 pm onwards.

The 21st century poses many challenges that require new ways of thinking, but none is more important than the economic role of women in a rapidly changing world. Over the last several decades, it has become accepted wisdom that improving the status of women is one of the most critical levers for growth. If we want to see India in the future as a country that is economically enriched, politically equipped, social activities then definitely we have to give women a leg up in all their respective spheres of activity.
