Kishore Kumar’s movies are always melodious. The man was, is, and will always be one of the unforgettable legends of Indian cinema. On his 92nd birth anniversary, people still can’t get enough of his songs. There are zillion tales of his idiosyncrasies.
It was even heard that in front of his Warden Road flat a placard which read, “Beware of Kishore”, Isn’t it weird? He was a man who was flooded with talent and we thought it was only Ranveer Singh, who was crazy!

# Even though he hated acting, his films worked like magic at the box office, especially comedy films.

# Bappi Lahiri is related to Kishore Kumar from his mother’s side.
# “Paanch Rupaiya Barah Aana”, the famous song was inspired by Kishore Kumar’s Indore College canteen.
# His original name is Abhas Kumar Ganguly, popularly known as Kishore Kumar in Bollywood. Not many of us know that he loaned rupees 50,000 to Satyajit Ray for ‘PotherPanchali’ movie.
