Language has not boundaries and love is forever! India and Bangladesh are not just neighbour, these two countries are two souls with one heartbeat!
Especially singers from both the countries love to come together gift their audience something unique. This time too without any fail, famous Bangladeshi singer Sabbir Nasir and Sa Re Ga Ma fame Kolkata based singer Shampa Biswas recorded a duet song which crossed one crore views.
‘Binodini Rai’ was sung in Dhamail style which originated from north-eastern Sylhet district of Northern Bangladesh. The song spread like a wild fire the moment it was released on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Recently no Bengali song has garnered this kind of popularity. The beautiful and soulful song have been tuned by none other than National Award-winning artist of Bangladesh Plavan Qureshi. The song Binodini Rai, spreads the positivity which everyone need at this grim situation.
Speaking on the occasion, Kolkata-based Shampa Biswas added, “‘Binodini Rai’ is another example of the cultural amity between two countries. Even when I didn’t know Plavan Qureshi Bhai, I sang ‘Indubala’ to his tune and the Bangladeshi audience loved it. And this time after getting a request from Sabbir Bhai I went to Bangladesh amidst an uncertain situation and could not have been more proud to be associated with this wonderful song.”
Sabbir Nasir also added, “I am very happy that ‘Binodini Rai’ has been appreciated by the people of two countries. I have tried my best to present a unique song.
