Dhiraj Das:l, DNI: From 1st July, new norms have been levied on banking services.
The country’s biggest public sector bank has revised service charges for cash withdrawal, TDS, and DI for Basic Savings Bank Deposit account holders.
Here all the changes you should be aware of:
– SBI declared that every customer would get 4 free transactions from ATMs and also branches. If the limit crossed, the bank would apply 15 rupees plus GST per transaction, it is applicable for home branches, SBI-ATMs, and non-SBI-ATMs.
– – SBI would provide 10 cheque leaves for free to BSBD accounts. After that additional leaves would be charged. For additional 10 leaves, customers have to pay 40 rupees and for 25 leaves, it is 75 rupees, apart from this, for the emergency checkbook, they have to pay 50 rupees plus GST.
However, there are no charges on non-financial transactions for BSBD accounts holders at SBI and non-SBI bank branches. The transaction is also free. Mobile and net banking are exempted from these service charges.
