Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s electronic relief measures to boost the economy

Lipika Sardar, DNI: Union finance minister Nirmala sitharaman held a press conference on Monday. She announced some relief measures for the economy. There was 8 key announcement. That announcement is a 6.28 lakh stimulus package.
Many Indian sectors have been badly affected due to the second wave of covid-19. Especially the raw material sectors which haven’t imported from other countries.
Union finance ministers said that 19,041 crores for broadband to each village of India through Bharat net PPP model. In the press conference, the finance ministers also announced the government will extension of the tenure of the PLI scheme for large-scale electronic manufacturing. This scheme offers incentives on incremental sales for products manufactured in India.
In the press conference, Sitharaman announced that the government will extend the performance-linked incentive scheme by the year 2025-26. The initiative was made for the large-scale electronic manufacturer.
